Application Support / Report Developer Technician

The Application Support / Report Developer Technician is responsible for supporting third party line of business (LOB) applications. This involves working with staff and third party vendors to troubleshoot issues, perform software installation/upgrades and provide support and training to staff. This person will work with each department in the organization to improve application usability and effectiveness in addition to handling day to day duties.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Support for LOB applications including identifying, resolving and/or escalating issues, and assuring issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining and/or upgrading LOB applications as needed.
  • Training new and existing staff on various functionality that LOB applications provide.
  • Assist in designing and developing reports for staff, as requested, using a variety of reporting tools including (but not limited to) Crystal and SQL Reporting Services.

Required Skills:
Application support experience. End User support experience. Report Development experience.

Desired Skills:
Training experience. Project Management.

Non-Tech Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as strong people skills.
